The Center for Free-Electron Laser Science (CFEL) at DESY in Hamburg, Germany hosted the Ultrafast X-ray Summer School 2017. UXSS 2017 was jointly organized by CFEL and the PULSE institute at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory.
